Hello everyone!
My Golf MK7 GTI started flickering the left xenon light, in regular periods. After 1-2 seconds, it switches on again.
Here is a vid of the issue:
Further information:
- it seems to me this really happens constantly and in regular periods - something about every 45 seconds to 2 minute
- it's clear in the video that the intensity of both lights are quite different, and their color on the wall are very different too.
- it happens when the high beam is on too. The car has DLA and adaptative lights, but it doesn't make any diffenrence, the flickering is there anyway, whether the car is moving or stand still.
- the car is quite new, a year and a half, only 32000km.
- as long as I could see through VCDS, voltage is 13.8 on both sides
- when the light switches on again after the fault, you can hear a noise, kindda an eletric motor working.
- I may attach a VCDS scan log later, if you guys want, BUT I DID IT TWICE, AND NEITHER THE MFD OR VCDS FOUND ANY FAULT CODE (SO FAR...). I will do it again tomorrow
The car is under warranty, but I would like to antecipate any good ideas about this before send the car to the dealer.
Thanks a lot.
