2012 Tiguan SEL NA region- was fooling around getting my Kessy keyfob to fold my mirrors, when to Adaptation in Module 42, Security Access enabled. Per other user forums elsewhere went to System_Parameter_0 System Byte 8, changed the existing value from 90 to 95, that didn't work. Other folks had success with 9F, that didn't work for me. The tried to change the value back to 90...the dreaded "Value out of Range" message appears. Didn't notice any consequences of this new value, but just curious- could a value change lock out further changes?
And before anyone asks, I asked my (very friendly) dealer to enable the mirror-fold-via-keyfob function, which he did, but the value in ...Byte 8 is still 9F. So it is possible with a NA Gen4 module, but YMMV.
