Trying to programme a second key but not having much luck.
It locks and unlocks the doors but when starting it cuts out.
Not sure what to do

Got an Auto-Scan?

Have you checked the relevant MVBs to confirm the key is being recognized at all and that the transponder in it isn't already locked?

Please post an Auto-Scan so people can see how the vehicle is equipped and configured.

So you've coded the remote section but not the immo? You need to extract the SKC from the instrument cluster, which is not a function of VCDS.

If your not the owner of the Transporter, ask the owner for the car pass details, enter the said details into VCDS with the said ignition key(s) and the immobilizer should work OK providing a fault is not present.
