Hello, I have a Passat CC 2009.
Recently the battery went dead due to excessive drain due to a defective radio.
Removed the fuse for the radio and still have a slight high amperage draw of 1.0AMP.
I removed the fuse for the rear door modules and the drain disappeared.
Also the master and the rf door report the rear door modules both offline.
Installed fuse back on and the drain appeared. Disconnected both rear door connectors at the B pillar and the drain disappeared.
Is this a fault from loosing its programming or both door modules went dead or I am missing something.
Bare in mind. At the rear doors, the power windows do work with their respective door switches, but the door locks and remotely with the master switch the windows do not work and the door locks do not set. Also the door ajar does not appear open when the doors are open.
Power and ground are present. The comm wire oscillates between 8.5 to 9.5 volts using a DVOM.
Please help.
