Going back though my full scan for the last 2 years, most of the problems have started with the Nox sensor which does seem quite important to the SCR [ selective catalytic reduction }. Specially when there is only one with the rest of the system relying on calculated and expected figures..
The van was driven for 22 months on very short 2x4miles journeys, I think that probably screwed the SCR system up.
Also my refusals to purchase a genuine and correct VW Nox sensors at £800 sterling, which leaves buying second hand, amazon and
ebay sensors.
Early scan shows errors snowballing with different cheap sensors which had been plugged in and out. u029e (No communication) 9560 Nox sensor Voltage 9880 Nox heating circuit.
Going though the old scans (very useful the full scan by the way, hehe). Things did settle a bit only recording 15733 scr cat efficiency.. Possibly might have confused the with the cheap Nox sensors and maybe the odd fuse in the wrong location. The Nox sensor did settle but then started to get loads of other fault codes like 22585 reducing level implausible p218f No reductant flow detected..
Replacing the adblue tank for a second time was abit lazy really has didn't want to remove front bumper to check for a wiring harness issues without replacing the tank which I suspect is broken (dont know really might be ok) and easier than checking wiring harness. Anyway new tank fitted and 100 miles driven and hoping for positive reading for the SCR monitoring. Still not getting results from the scr pump but it must be dozing adblue as the no-start count down has lifted the inducement figures are zero.
Still not completely convinced that it is fixed but its seems ok today.
