Yes it has been a while since my last post, I also omitted to include the diagnostic details
BUT I will get rebuked later I just need help
Blank instrument screen occured twice during a long journey, ran Auto Scan which identified 17 Instrument Cluster

No Basic Setting

Yes I have the VCDS HEX-V2 and I am able to do basic diagnostics but having checked on how to clear this problem I am a little cautious to run the Basic Settings function without a lot of guidance.

That fault code is usually because the SRI information has been screwed with, I doubt it is to do with the screen going blank, the virtual cockpit is becoming know for screen failure, ACTronics can repair them but they only deal with the trade.

I have been having a few problems :-
1st what is and how do I get a SRI file?
2nd I have attempted to upload the Auto Scan file but things seem not to be functioning right, either my brain, my knowledge or my damn computer.

I have attached the latest Auto Scan as requested

I have noticed that after running the Auto scan I press "copy" then press "save" that is if it highlights which I have noticed it doesn' t always but thats a different
issue.

In VCDS, click [SRI Reset].
Wait for VCDS to read the SRI channels.
Click [Add to logfile]
The file will be in your Logs sub-folder.
Open it with Notepad, copy & paste the contents here.

Biggest problem I am using granddaughters laptop for the HEX-V2 which desnt have my profile or email address I save the Auto Scans on that laptop then need to transfer to usb and work on my main computer so huge thanks for your patience and understanding at the bottom is the SRI results as requested

By the way The reason for address 23 fault code is due to lower than normal battery voltage of 12.04 volts as the voltage should be in the range of 12.2 to 13.6 volts the battery is now on a repair charge due to being very little used in the last 7 months and it may also require replacing

Do an auto reset of the SRI using the drop down menu, make sure the oil service is a maximum of 15000km and 365 days, if not go into adaptation and change the values manually and change the oil quality to "good quality oil" if it will let you.

having read the VCDS Users Manual I can get the lst to what I need to change but I can find nowhere that says how to change the current values to the ones you recommend,
So how do I change them and where, please?

Right where to start, I connected the VCDS to the car, clicked on the Select box, clicked on 17 - Instruments, that took me to the next screen (unable to get typing off bold) didn't know which box to click so clicked Basic Settings - 04 all it did was to bring up fuel tank, By the way what setting should the diesel tank have? so how do I get from 17-Instruments to the screen it shows in Section 20 -A of the online manual?

If I got on to this page I could change the settings to 15000 km and 365 days, that I do understand.
I believe I may have found the reason for the 30,00km and over 700 days setting, I believe this is due to the last service done by VW in that the service documents stated next service interval of 2 years as the vehicle was under lease.

As I have indicated my ability with the VCDS is less than basic so any advice please keep it extremely simple, thanks
