Fuel Rail/System Pressure Low 2005 Audi A8 D3 6.0 W12

I'm experiencing fuel pressure loss and can't fix this problem.
Replaced the fuel pumps with new ones showing 6.0 bars (87 psi) before installed.
Replaced the fuel filter located under the vehicle near the passenger side on the back. There's no high pressure fuel pump as I'm aware.
Checked the voltage feeding the pumps (12.5-12.6 at cold start)
Now I'm checking the pressure at the fuel rail in the engine bay and it is showing around 3.2 bars (46.5 psi) ad idle and around 3.5 bars (51 psi) at higher revs (when stationary). I'm unable to check it on the go while riding, unfortunately.
Also, checked the tiny hose at the so called "fuel return regulator" I guess and when I blocked it (I was told to do so for testing whether it operates correctly or not), the pressure jumps up to around 3.8 bars (55 psi) as a result at idle.

Could you share ant more ideas how to diagnose this problem?

Car is 2005 year 6.0 w12 engine.

VCDS is showing no codes related to the fuel pressure. Although, engine works not so smooth and adjusts revs at idle up to 800-900 RPMs when wormed up with upstream O2 sensor readings showing -27% correction at that moment. Sometimes those showings vary up to 25% in various banks.

Engine is adjusting the idle because it either has bad o2's, a bad maf if its got one or another issue ,-27% fuel trim means its pulling fuel out to even out the mixture. You need to stop listening to people that don't know what they are talking about.

The Audi A8 D3 6.0L W12 fuel rail operating pressure is normally around 3.2 to 4.0 bar.

I do not suggest. As per factory repair manual pressure is within spec end of story. You have no codes to suggest its out and the fact that fuel is being pulled out leads me to believe you have other issues going on with this vehicle. Why were the fuel pumps changed?

Well, pressure was below 3.2 before replacing those pumps as you can observe in the second video. That's why I did this repair.
Vehicle was not pulling well on the highway and uphill serpentines. Checked the pressure and assumed the pumps were faulty. Replaced them and now it's better, although O2 sensors are showing -27% in random banks and 25% sometimes without any evidence of the particular moment triggering those readings, simultaneously adjusting revs up to 800rpm. That happens after some time (15-30 minutes) when engine coolant temp reaches 105C°-112C° and stays stationary after some ride.

This is engine II meanwhile engine I was not showing any extraordinary readings. Although, sometimes engine I does exactly the same. And it may sound strange, but sometimes instead of -27% there are 25% mainly on the engine II side.

All these things happen 15-30 minutes past after reaching working temperatures.

This vehicle has 2 maf's IIRC. Unplug maf sensors and check fuel trims.

I've done a good nice ride today with unplugged MAFs.
Engine revs in idle didn't adjust to 800rpm this time, although O2 sensors were showing abnormal readings.
Overall feeling of the smoothness of the engine was better though.

I didn't try to test it on highway and uphills, but it's definitely behaving better in city conditions as it didn't adjust revs up to 800rpm at idle like before and less vibrations were felt today for sure.
Do you think it's MAFs?
Because I have replaced one (engine II related) of them recently. It was not calculating more that 140g/s on highway when I was testing it while riding high speeds althoug 180g/s should be the highest reading as I'm aware and that's how I defined that MAF was not good.

Coming to the fuel pressure question first. If that engine has a 4bar regulator you should see approx that pressure on the gauge if you unplug the control port on the regulator. Then with the control port connected and the engine pulling say 0.5-0.7 bar vacuum on idle the observed gauge pressure should drop to 3.5-3.3bar i.e. there is always 4bar differential pressure. I realise as I type that I don't know if the mighty W12 used a mechanical FPR on the fuel rail with flow & return or if it used a returnless rail with the regulator at the filter (or something more exotic).

It's possible to calculate the anticipated range of MAF values from first principles for any engine with some basic assumptions, but if the two MAFs are not closely tracking each other it definitely points to a problem in the air mass measurement department.

Those lambda adaptation values are out to whack so the ECU is trying to compensate for something that is out of control range.

So I looked up the car on PL24 and it is a traditional flow & return rail with a 4 bar mechanical regulator so my previous comments are relevant on how to test the regulator.

Also, you should be looking at what may be causing the lambda probe faults (as in your first scan). An intermittent short to heater circuit will pull the lambda sense voltage high, a high voltage represents a rich condition, in turn the fuel trims are reducing fuel; resulting in a real world lean burn.

This may also explain the catalyst efficiency codes, as a real world lean burn will result in too much oxygen passing the downstream sensors, that the ECU interprets as the catalyst not doing its oxidation function.

i did the quick math on the expected air-mass flow rates for that engine...
At idle (~800rpm) it should be in 5 g/s ball park for each MAF.
At redline (~6000rpm) wide-open it should be in 180 g/s territory for each MAF.
The main thing to expect is that the two MAFs are closely matched and that the two throttle bodies are closely synchronised as well.

One other thing you can do while checking fuel pressure is to check the factory spec for the residual fuel pressure 10min after the engine is shutdown - this should be no lower than 2.5 bar.

I must say - if your fuel pressure gauge is accurate, the value shown of 3.2 bar is lower than expected at idle with the control hose connected... either the regulator is out of spec or your engine is pulling a mighty strong vacuum... check it again without the control hose fitted and use a fuel pressure gauge that you know gives an accurate result.

Car is 2005 year 6.0 w12 engine.

VCDS is showing no codes related to the fuel pressure. Although, engine works not so smooth and adjusts revs at idle up to 800-900 RPMs when wormed up with upstream O2 sensor readings showing -27% correction at that moment. Sometimes those showings vary up to 25% in various banks.

Reading that again makes me certain your fuel pressure regulator is out of spec... or your measuring equipment isn't accurate.
You should be seeing 4bar fuel gauge pressure with the control port disconnected.

I don't think the out of spec FPR is the only problem here though... try to get some running logs of RPM, MAF1, MAF2, ETB1, ETB2 and all of the O2 sensors on the car for analysis... Looking at the immense WD for that motor, it seems only 2007++ model years had the WB sensors fitted upstream of the CATs.
