VW Crafter 2011 model: key remote no longer working on door locks

On my 2011 VW Crafter the doors will no longer lock or unlock with any of the remotes. The switch on the center panel locks and unlocks the doors just fine, but no result with the key remotes.

When opening the central locks module I get no fault codes, and these measurement blocks:

General: 14 volts on the system when testing, and terminal 15 has power.

Remote control 1: No value for key number, No value for remote control button, number of learned remotes: 1 (Second key is probably a copy of number 1, and not OEM.)

Remote control 2: Remote control fixed code: no Value, remote control code in range: no value, remote control algorithm: no value

Immobilizer: Key recognition terminal 15c: Yes


It stopped working recently, and I've never seen anything like this before. We have about 20 of these vehicles.

Any advice?

Deleted all fault codes, put in new batteries, and now one of them works, the other one is dead. Both keys have working indicator lights when buttons are pressed.
