M013-EU-VW-R8900L Does What?

What does this update do? Will it change mileage on my Jetta.
VW states if one is not signed up for myVW these will not be sent to car, but that's not true.
Anyone shut this OFF. Since I never signed up for myVW can not go into and cancel

Dealer just confirmed that NO update is listed! So I'l just keep hitting NO, hopefully hacker will get lost

Are you sure this is applicable to what is presumably a NAR market car?

Yes it is, as LG MOi3 Units will have EU Train all over the world. But in update there are EU and NAR source:


In EEPROM and Bootloader there's a market ID in these units, which decide in SWUP process, which files are used.

Done some research in these Units as done a few retrofit with canadian units, as they offer GPS plug, which is needed for MQB legacy cars without OCU3. Conversion need changed Market ID and update will change the files during SWUP.

In settings it will show "EU", but in "Component" there is "US"
