I don't have the auto scan. But I need a scan from a 2023 Jetta GLI Autobahn (USA) with Beats, hardware 3G5 035 869.

The forum here is owned by Ross Tech for support of VCDS users. If you have VCDS you should post an autoscan. If you're not a Ross Tech customer (and don't own VCDS) then there's not much help available.

Look I bought this car from a private individual and am just trying to get some help because the dealership can't or isn't willing to help with out me spending a ton of money to diagnose the problem first... If I can get the coding I will get VCDS fix the issues myself but I don't want to just throw my money away on something that I'm not sure I can even get the code for... A friend suggested this site and said you guys were Knowledgeable and would be willing to help that is all I'm asking for. Yes I'm new and this is my first post If someone has the 5F hex code and is willing to share for a 23 GLI AUTOBAHN 2.0l DXSA

If you dont want to pay the dealer to rip you off for a fix you need to have VCDS for your car regardless. Once you buy a genuine VCDS ( not a chinese clone) at a price similar to one dealer scan and you can get help here for your current specific problem or any future problems. VCDS will be able to do the needed coding and people here can determine the required coding once you post a full autoscan

There is no 'one 5f hex code' that will work across the range of infotainments unit, each code is unique to the car because it takes into account what your car is configured with, which is why, asking for a full autoscan shows people what equipment your car has and then, can a code be produced based on your unique car configuration.

Seeing as you do not (currently) have access to VCDS to provide a scan, doubt it very much you will get a 5f hex code.

If you intend on keeping the car, strongly suggest you get VCDS, get the cheapest version as all versions will allow you to generate a full autoscan

If I can get the coding
I'm confident there are people here who can get the original factory coding for this thing once you post an Auto-Scan, but I'm not one of them, so I'm not even in a position to determine whether the existing coding you posted is incorrect for this car, and there's certainly no guarantee that whatever is wrong with it can actually be fixed by correcting the coding.

What you're asking for is essentially "Can someone lend me their key so I can open the drivers door please."

That doesn't work. The code you're looking for will doubtless be vehicle specific, so we need to know "exactly" what your cars options are. It's not that people won't help, just that you're not in a position to allow us to help you.

Ok, sorry I didn't understand that the car needed the entire scan the dealer made it sound like it was just the infotainment system that needed the correct code but made it sound like he was going to need multiple visits just to diagnose this. And I really don't want to hand out money to them just to scratch their asses and not get me a solution. I would rather learn to do this myself.....
Can anyone suggest the right equipment I will need to access the control modules... Maybe something midrange that will be reliable and be able to handle any future problems that arise with this car?

And thank all of you that replied to my post I wasn't sure if anyone would try and help

If you want us here to help you then the right equipment is a VCDS HEX-V2 cable. This can be had in 3 versions -one that supports 3 VAG vehicles, one that supports 10 VAG vehicles and one that supports an unlimited number of VAG vehicles.

HEX-V2 direct from Ross-Tech
