Skoda Karoq 2.0 110kw DQ381 SWT replacement

Hi, I’m looking for some advice. 2017 Škoda Karoq, 2.0, 110 kW, DQ 381 transmission, OE: 0gc301107, transmission code SWT. Is it possible to swap it for a different transmission code or this isn't possible?

Hello,

I am sure it is possible to use a transmission with a different code, but . . . I would not suggest it!

My reasoning is this vehicle has been built (calibrated'/'programed) for that specific transmission and if you install a different transmission this could cause all sorts of drivability issues.

The only exception to this is when the replacement transmission have the exact same specs as the original, but it may just have a different build date and code.

The Official Factory Repair Information will show you all the specs for the transmissions.
