Hello,
i've been trying to perform these updates for my Hex-Net but the process keeps stalling at this point after I get the pop up and click ok, hours later and there does not appear to be any progress. Any ideas what could be the problem? I've tried from my phone's hot-spot, work & my home wifi but still get the same results everytime.

Thanks

This is a problem with mounting the interface as a storage device to the PC, it is not a networking problem. What type of PC do you have? What type of anti-virus software? You might want to try temporarily disabling anti-virus, some software has been known to try to scan the interface and this prevents the data from being written to it. It might also be worth trying the update from a different PC if you have one.

I've tried on two computers, a dell xps laptop running fedora 44 and a desktop running win 11 pro. I've also tried doing the update with vcds mobile on a ipad but it gets through the download, goes to the verify and then just seems to reset to the check for update screen instead of applying the update. I don't have any anti virus software on any of these computers. Not sure what else I can try since all of these fail.

That's clearly "unsupported". I mean if it works, great, but if it doesn't, please don't expect us to trouble-shoot it for you.

and a desktop running win 11 pro.
That should work.

What happens if you check the "Skip VCDS-Mobile Update" box?

It looks to me like you're completely up-to-date for use with VCDS, and you're just missing the VCDS-Mobile data.

As Uwe alludes to, you really only need this update for VCDS-Mobile, you are fine as is for using VCDS.

dell xps laptop
Do you have an alienware mouse for your PC? This has been known to cause issues.
