Hi, we had a Seat Arona Year 2019 with ABS Long Code all zeros after ABS Replacement,tried to code the replacement (Used) ABS module but it wont accept the code,it comes up with an error message "Coding rejected".

You installed a module which is older than the original, with a lower software level. This is generally considered a bad idea w/o even checking if the coding can be generated here. In cases where we are providing codings etc. the prerequisite is that the replacement module is a suitable/compatible part. Rule of thumb, it starts with "never install an older module" (i.e. lower hardware/software level).

Thank you for your reply Sebastian, just to clarify, We didn’t install the ABS module!
The vehicle came to our garage with it already installed by another garage and apparently they could not complete the coding because they didn’t have the “right equipment”.
The difference in part number was the first thing I noticed when it first came to our garage. So the ABS Module will have to be replaced with another newer version then ?

Since we have no means to determine the exact difference in these hardware/software/firmware levels of the module (that would be VW development internal data) and therefor no means to verify compatibility, I would not feel comfortable to leave this in the car. If it was mine, I would replace it with a proper/matching module. Based on a quick search, 2Q0-614-517-AA was never installed in any MY 2019 - only in early MY 2018's. That said, 2Q0-614-517-AG seems to be a proper replacement for 2Q0-614-517-AA but then this does not guarantee upwards compatibility.

I would give long odds, on the order of 10:1 that it is, but I don't know anything about this particular ABS.

The path of least resistance here might just be to take it to someone with ODIS and a GRP account, and code it using SVM.
