Hello all!
I have had a HPFP gone bad on a 3.0 TDI phaeton. The pump has been replaced together with filters, injectors and so on.
I have a little issue with the rail pressure when im trying to start it. I primed the pump and bled the fuel system before attemting to start. In VCDS I had no option to activate the liftpump, but was able to bleed the system by activating the relays for the liftpump and aux fuel pump. I bleed until I could not hear any air rattling around, and i only got solid fuel out of both rails.
However, the car does not start and when checking the fuel pressure the requested value is at 3xx BAR and all actual values registers as 0 BAR. Do you guys has any pointers here? I think it might be air left in the system, but also thinks it is wierd that it does not reach any pressure at all. Even if the timing of the HPFP would be off, would the pressure be 0 BAR??
