Hello, looking to see if anyone knows the access code to ecu module 2 (011) for a 2011 Lamborghini gallardo. Replaced the lower intake manifold and need to perform the adaptation but won’t give me access which I’m assuming due to that security access. Anyone run into this or a way around this? Thank you

I don't see why you would need a SA for perform basic setting on flaps. Im pretty sure you have to do it from the master ecm 01. Both banks are done at the same time.

@taco.daddy84 I've replied to this request earlier via email since it came in through our support emails. Please answer the questions raised there, similar to @Ziddywerks I believe this is a user error BUT the ECM Master is often enough not the way to go here and you have actually been using Adaptation instead of Basic Settings (based on your screenshots). That said, once we have the requested details we should be able to provide you with step by step instructions.

It’s the adaptation that needs to go through not the basic settings , according to the test plan. Based off a r8 repair manual it’s requesting a adaptation

Please see my email from earlier this morning and reply to it with the needed vehicle details (Auto-Scan etc.) and then we'll verify what you have there specifically. The R8 instructions may work for the base engine but diagnostic data is not the same between the R8 and the Gallardo.

Okay just logged in, I see your email. Thank you and will get back to you. May actually have found other issues separate for this so once I repair those I’ll reply

Would I be able to send you all that, even though I currently have things taken apart and may show faults?

Yes, assuming the ECM's etc. are still wired up - all we need is the basic Auto-Scan for the time being. That way we know exactly what hardware (and control module software) you are working on.

This isn't an issue here, we're already on it. Will update this thread as we go. 😉

The issue here is as expected, the function in question is not in adaptation.

VCDS > Select > 11 - Engine 2 > Basic Settings - 04 > MVB 144

VCDS wiki lambo is not officially supported
That is no way the same as "not supported" or "wont work"

So does the wiki need to change ?

Don't look like it from here !

It is HEX-NET only and the user here is using a HEX-NET. There is an active behind the scenes process, which means we are completely overhauling the WIKI and it's content. This does include more specific /detailed compatibility information for models like the Gallardo and others that aren't exactly common. If you need to work on the Gallardo, you'll also need a hardware side adapter depending on which system you plan to work on.

Fun fact, we do have limited Bugatti support in VCDS but we're not advertising it due to a total lack of relevancy in the real world. 😉

As for supported and unsupported, we consider a model fully supported if and when we're also able to provide technical support in addition to bare diagnostic access. This is part of why the Gallardo page has the statement as it does right now.

Next time there should be auto scan posted. I'm not a mind reader.
