Trying to locate PSCM on 2015 Audi A3 for repair

I have an issue with my Power Steering Control Module (error codes: b200ff0 and b2000000) which I am trying to locate on my car to remove and get repaired.

My car is a 2015 Audi - A3 Quattro Premium, 2L, In-Line4 and I believe I have found it attached to the steering rack but wanted to confirm before removing the part.

The part says the following:
7802 277 763
A69683-111
B 07.11.14 1411110850

If anyone has this car or knows where the PSCM is on the Audi A3 can you let me know if this is the correct part?

The whole analysis is:
Verified that the power steering does not work at all, checked for dtcs and found a b200ff0 internal ecu malfunction and a b2000000 control module faulty internal check sum error, these dtcs will not clear, the #44 power steering control module is integral to the electronic steering gear and not serviced separately. There is good power, ground and communication ckts to steering gear, needs a new steering gear and alignment then recheck

it's probably inside the steering rack, that's on top of the subframe.

Thanks for the replies. We have already done the scan and confirmed that the PSM needs to be repaired or replaced. Since the Audi solution is to replace the entire rack, we located a service that can rebuild the PSM, but we are having problems locating it. YouTube videos show it on the bottom of the rack and easy to get to, and the service manual doesn't even mention it. On this A3, it's not on the bottom of the rack as shown in the video, so we are looking for help to locate it.

My daughter has a 2015 A3 (registered with my vcds scanner) with a power steering module fault. Local shops will ONLY replace it with OEM from Audi which costs about half of what the car is worth. If I order a remanufactured PSM, will I be able to read the codes from the existing one and program them into the new one? If so, can someone point me to instructions for doing this?

Hopefully we don't need to send it to the dealer as she just can't afford to get her car fixed if we have to.

Unclear. In that generation of A3, there might be Component Protection involved. Then there's also the question whether a remanufactured one will have the correct software and dataset it in.

The 5Q0/3Q0 rack doesn't do CP but indeed dataset might be an issue.

Is there a way to check or a question I should ask of the company providing the unit? Alternatively, does anyone have a US based company that can repair the rack if I send it to them?

I'd tell them you need a rack for VIN xxx and you need it to be ready to mount with parameters loaded and preferably coded too. You'll probably need to do basic settings though, that's unavoidable.

I wouldn't bother with all that nonsense. I would try and purchase the latest and greatest part number that fits the vehicle by vin. However before we do all that, why not post a vin and a auto scan to start this should be the basic approach. Many things can be found out if we have a vin or auto scan to start.
