hi guys
car is a 2012 q5 3.0 v6 tdi
customer claims all three lights (dpf , mil and glowplug spiral) appears on dash every now and then ..car goes ino a limp.he takes it out on the open road for a few miles and then all is ok for a while...someone before me cleared all faults on the vehicle so Im assuming this thing just needs a dpf regen ..soot mass is measured 28g and calculated 21g ..I must say they are constantly rising..maybe the values were reset before I got vehicle? (also if someone could point out the difference between these values to me?measured vs calculated)
so I go into basic settings..elec loads on .engine idling etc
activate "service regen of particle filter" and all I get is "not running- 41.056" ..after some time it says "aborted safety reasons"
also tried doing it under adaption
enter security code given 27971..go to adaption..change value from 0 to 1 ...it then still says security access required
am I doing something wrong?
