Steering Wheel Buttons (T6 with Mk.7 Steering Wheel)

Dear Ross-tech team, good day,

I am searching over 1,5 year some solution for following issue:
After the first replacement of the steering wheel and the second replacement of 2DIN radio
SW buttons related to ONLY radio stopped with working!
IMPORTANT INFO: After the first SW replacement all SW buttons still worked yet with the original radio!!!

The configuration and information:

Volkswagen T6 California Beach (2019),the last VCDS scan is enclosed, VIN: WV2ZZZ7HZKH084564
Current steering wheel - MK7 Golf with rounded airbag, the buttons number please see the attached scan
Current radio - SONY XAV-9550ES
CANBUS adapter - CONNECTS CTSVW015.2

Additional info: All devices are correctly connected. I am sure over 100%.
The SW buttons for the cruise control and multifunction dashboard display are working without any issue.
However when I measure signals of CC buttons for example, there are no signals. However they still work.

After trying to turn on and pair buttons on the radio (settings - system - steering wheel control)
I was able to pair 3 buttons - voice, pickup phone, track+.
When I try to pair other one this message was shown

My requirement is: The rest of buttons to make functional as well!!!
I mean buttons: volume+/-, track+/-, voice, pickup/hang-up phone, mute which never worked with this radio!!!

My tests trying to solve it:
- I replaced back the original SW buttons - not solved.
- I connected one Chinese emulator - worse results, CC, ABS, ESP stopped with working.
- I connected other brand of adapter - no chance.

My question: Does some complex solution exist for this PQ25 platform?

However when I measure signals of CC buttons for example, there are no signals. However they still work.

Then you are not measuring the right thing in the right way - Your measurement is flawed.

Of course there will be measurable signals there if it works !!!

I don't see in these details, but one mechanic send me these details:

The steering column control unit is not sending any further data to the BCM. This was evident from the live diagnostics based on the measured values. The button commands are not being processed by the control unit and therefore are not reaching my volume control. The cruise control works thanks to the CAN bus. The radio is connected to the BCM via a LIN bus. My steering wheel remote control is simply acting as a command receiver.

If you use the proper set of buttons things will work just fine. This won't get solved via diagnostics, as the messages/ids between the 2 platforms are different. There is an outfit in Germany who installs working adapters for configurations like this but they don't sell these outside of their own retrofits/mods.

Results may vary based on your 3rd party CAN adapters. Really, there is nothing we can do here. Get a working/compatible adapter or live with the situation.

No compatible adapter helps with this issue even though it is defined for SONY and T6. Thanks.

Well, then what is your expectation towards folks here?

You've installed a non-factory configuration (i.e. steering wheel) and your aftermarket radio setup won't properly work with that.

There is no magic button or setting etc. which would make this work.
