...Hello everyone. About a month ago, my alternator failed while I was driving. The car lost power for a few minutes, but when I drove the last few miles home, the cluster went completely dead. The car wouldn't turn over, there were no lights, no dashboard, nothing. I replaced the alternator and checked various other things, but none of it helped. The cluster showed a checksum error, and somehow my IMMO didn't exist at all. It's still the same now. I have some skill with hardware, and successfully exported the cluster EEPROM, found someone to clear the checksum, and basically got my cluster back online. The problem I'm facing now is that my Windows is completely unusable. There are no faults; they have lighting and locks, power, and the motors all test functional, relay is good, switches are good power to mirrors door locks switch illumination child lock functions, But its like my windows don't exist. all four. no convenience opening of any kind. The bcm is coded for four windows and convenience opening by door lock and remote. and no faults. I'm friggin stumped. Oh, I tried a exact match bcm replacement as well. Nothing.
