I've done a few of the 210+ range but not all.

Nice Caddyshack reference but it's going to have to wait until this evening. Hopefully that will be it before my wife strangles me for spending more time in the garage working on the same issue. LOL

Nope, same results as before. Ran all tests previously discussed and went through blocks 210-254. I assume everything was run properly for the binary groups. I'm at a loss at this point.

Does the SAI pump and Combi valve noid run with output tests?

You are running the 077 test at idle right and the TV is ADP-ok in 060?

Install TV and let me know when the car is setup with wifi for me to remote in.........

I can here the SAI pump in cold start.
Stupid question, do you run outputs with engine on or off? I have an idea but want confirmation.

Yes, they both turn on during output tests.

Yes, I'm running 077 at idle with coolant temp at 80.

Have you done it after all other tests have been done within the same DCY?

Yes, did it after all other tests.
Yes, ADP ok.
Trying to set up WiFi since my router is too far. I've never had to remote someone in. What info do you need?

YAY!...............

Bizarre test data, however, it is running FOD!

I would consider a new genuine MAF sensor ASAP based on those tests we observed.

The O2 sensor and SAI passed during my drive. Thanks again for all your help with this!

So did it pass after the short drive, or did you have to go to 223 or 077 after the 034 OXS passed and run the test first.......just to be sure for my notes?

It passed during the drive so I didn't perform the 077 and 223 tests. I went to get the car emission tested first thing this morning, just in case, and it passed.

I'm going to order a new maf today.

FYI ...........for those interested...........and why a MAF is needed.

This car would not run the test in 077 when commanded in basic settings.......it would, however, in 223

It ran the test but would not flip the bit until the road test, and this is due to FOD.

It would run the test in B1 S1 034 static, however, not complete and was not counting the field 3 during the test!........clearly FOD!

FORCE ........Readiness tests in the stack can be run static, with basic settings command not in motion.......... or on the road test.
Each type test has different parameters,........ this includes the actual test when observed in 08 based on learned stored values.......... which change within a table for each DCY saved to eeprom.

When you go outside the table you are supposed to get a DTC.
In this case it was not doing this at all........So FOD on DTC tables.

We watched this in trims + the behavior and target of the 046 CAT test randomly switching off and on rather than ON steady when we commanded.

This was sporadic behavior of the MAF, which also didn't give us a DTC when it should of!

The more you know

It was fun and I am glad it worked out........you should consider a stock ecu for actual testing data......... which is not being withheld.

When code like this exists it cripples the things such as a readiness script in VCDS and the Forced tests.

This is why I encourage people to learn about what the tests are for and what they report, verse just saying ADP-OK or test OK...

Know your basics..........

For me now and for a long time, I have had to add conditions to diagnose modified/stock cars for additional time and testing .......further I require a verification of the Flash image and Eeprom to be checked for tampering FOD!

There is so much of this tampering .........I think it's time RT consider adding this paid for plugin........ doing this in the back ground to report it to the end user........ against an internal database.

Most shops just don't have this ability or time, however,.......... I bet they would pay for it.
