My 2013 Audi A4 Allroad 2.0TDI(CGLC) is gutless

As the title says my Audi barely has any power in the engine.

It all started half a year ago with P0299 code popping up as soon as I depressed the throttle a little too much and it progressively got worse until just thinking about passing someone threw the code, bought a Max gear brand turbo pressure regulator and it did not change much except it was back to how it was before all this for two seconds and then threw the code again(like it broke instantly).

A couple of weeks ago the car suddenly stalled after having refueled(only got 4.5km from the fuel station) and it became a crank no start problem, towed the car back home and checked fuel pump in tank and it was flowing but the filter was hard to blow through so I replaced that and primed the hpfp before attempting to start, now the car runs but is gutless as heck so can't drive it, and I just got myself a HEX-V2 to diagnose the car, clearing DTCs removes the P0299 but the car feels like it has gone naturally aspirated instead of turbocharged.

Tried to burn the diesel to see if it was contaminated with gasoline but it did not burn and does not smell like gasoline.

Took apart the intake tube between filter box and turbo, tried to spin turbo and it was possible to spin the turbo with slight resistance and absolutely no play at all in the bushings, and no play at all axially. There was a small pool of oil on the filter box side of the turbo(1-2mL)

Did my turbo hand in the towel? Might be a lot of soot deposits because the car asked for 1L of oil per ~1000km

A long awaited update on my Audi.

I left it at a mechanic a few weeks ago and what he saw on his scan tool was that the cylinder no 1 injector had failed open because the calibration value indicated it and as a result the DPF has become completely clogged, I was told that the injector could have been slightly open since last summer until November last year when it became wide open and that extra diesel could have produced all that extra soot as well.

More updates shortly as after the injector was replaced the car ran normally but not for long, after the mechanic took out a sensor from before the DPF the car ran normally for once but with a lot of black smoke and some blue smoke(I guess accumulated soot and unburnt diesel during diagnostic runs)

The mechanic could not program the timing right on the new injector and there was a lot of AAAAAA in the code, What could that mean?

Up next on the replacement list is the DPF and my current mechanic refused the job as it was too large of a job for his shop, but he has asked another mechanic to take on the job and I'll get an answer tomorrow if that mechanic accepts the challenge.

Update on the Audi
Got it back from the mechanic today(he was actually done with the car a month ago but had messed up a number from my phone number while writing it down, I called him today to ask how it's going) and he clarified that with all the different programming tools he had he could not program the new OEM injector as if it was locked, he said that all the lines had --------- instead of actual values.
They unhooked the DPF and saw that it was completely clogged so they drilled 3 holes with a 12mm drillbit trough the medium instead of replacing it, ran a forced regen and now the car runs normally but the glowplug light is flashing all the time.

I have yet to hook up the scan-tool and do a diagnostic on it and most likely put the OEM turbo pressure regulator back as the MaxxForce regulator might be a stupid third party option.
Luckily the inspection does not count particles from the exhaust yet but the flashing light might pose a problem to get it through.

If i had the knowledge on how to do the diagnosis and immediately seen what was wrong I would have tried to fix it myself but with so much going on at the time of failure I opted for a mechanic to do the job, I bought another car moved on with working myself to the bone and basically forgot about the Audi at the workshop until my mother asked how it was going, she has the 2014 model and is scared the same is going to happen to her car.

7 days ago, done injectors coding for Audi A6 with same engine as yours. Thing is you need to re-code all of them even if you replace only one, starting from number 1 injector to number 4. Glowplug flashing cuz you don't have injector coded in ECU. And then get DPF replaced (cheaper one from scrapyard or expensive new one, choice is yours)

Do you really believe that the ECU will not detect that the DPF has been ripped up ?

Dpf deletes are possible but the ECU software needs to be altered for it to work.

Coded all injectors this evening and the glowplug light stopped blinking, saw a bunch of AAAAAAAA in VCDS so the mechanic might have mistaken the I on the new injector code for a 1(AAHM4I2) or he didn't know that coding all of them was required.

After a short drive(few minutes) the car started to regen by itself and it smelled like a charcoal grill with lots of smoke, the smoking stopped after ~15min.

The guy who drilled the DPF might have done something to the ECU, I'll ask tomorrow.

Also coded a new battery since I replaced it but had no knowledge how to code it until now.

Called on Tuesday and asked about if the ECU had been tampered with and got told that the only thing they did after the drilling was re-calibrating the pressure transmitters to the new pressure difference, he also told me that they refuse to do DPF deletes in his workshop since inspection might implement particle measurement in the near future and then it becomes illegal to delete the DPF, I will replace the DPF in the near future but I will run it as it is until I have to(might be really soon if it doesn't pass inspection).

The Audi smoked like this on Tuesday.

After driving today, the car didn't smoke after a 80km trip but it still smells like unburnt diesel(there is some in the exhaust from when the injector failed).

Yes I have a factory repair manual and can do that type of work without issues. It's not hard just time consuming and you have to be careful not to break anything else.
