Just fussed with rear lights adaptations - have EU OE VW Dynamic lights with DAP conversion harness + coding to function on 2019 US/NAR eGolf.
For some reason, switching lights 'ON' or 'PARK' illuminated turnsignals solid Amber.... I started poking around with Mk7 stock coding and made things oh-so-much worse...
aka 'learning experience'. Someone pointed out that "An expert is someone is has made 'all the mistakes already' " and I'm working on improving my expertise!!!
Despaired at first since I didn't recall saving an 09 Central admap for reference...
So started tweaking based on 2019 Golf TSi in Argentina admap - which didn't get me there.
Found stock US 2019 R admap (thank you c-gar) and compared the zones I knew I'd messed up, also found stock eGolf admaps (thank you Dana)
Along the way also discovered that I had an admap for my own car (I don't recall saving it, but it was in logs!!) If I'd only known that *before* I started tweaking based on stock Mk7 without tracking what I had to begin with!!
Then used my current admap vs what worked before and Voila!! Lights work as they should.
Enormously impressed and thankful (Hey, it's a day for Thanks!) to y'all for sharing your skills and experience.
It might sound weird, but I am able to enjoy this day more now that I know my car lights are functional again!!
