Hello guys!
After updateing with the beta channel update as Shaun said now the interface works good i can now see live data and everything is good!
The update was a little slow but it works!
And an other question with my car i did an autoscan read all modules after that it requires an additional update again did it and works flawless! But if i check an other car i have to download all rods and asam data according to the car? Of course if i use in if mode it will download, but what if i have to use ap mode?

after doing a lot of tests end 2023, I looked again into VCDS-mobile. In 2023 I have problems with the ROD and ASAM files:
I tried again and still some files are missing, the program warns that it needs to update ASAM, if I say Yes it start downloading ASAM but in the end it is updating ROD files?
Anyhow, ever after updating some date are missing, and when data for a module are missing the VCDS mobile stops with a "gray" screen when I want to see real-time data and I need to restart the app (v0.039).

If you are interested in helping us test, there is a test fix for this available on the alpha updates channel. Let me know if you want to test it and I can switch your interface to the alpha channel temporarily.
Yes, of course! In the meantime I tried to do some testing of my own:
- ASAM files are available and have identical names in PC and MOB version
- in MOB version it claims in the log they are not available (see included file)
- ROD files are OK in PC version N/A in MOB
- it seems that I can view live data on module 1 (for instance) in MOB but not for module 3D, in PC it works for #1 and #3D

I tried to upgrade via VCIconfig, only choice, under the advanced tab was beta (β) or not alpha (α) was visible nowhere.
So I updated with β.
Using MOB in car I did an autoscan:
was OK and VIN visible but it claimed ASAM update
I tried and when doing a second autoscan there was NO VIN in the logfile, and the logfile saved on the cloud with an error (red cross).
In fact I tried a lot more:
To be honest I really don't see what I can do more, the behaviour of VCDS seems erratic or not reproducible.
VIN is visible in the first autoscan and missing in the following autoscans (as it was 3 years agoo).
The only other information that could be helpfull I got when doing a network test, everything was fine (access cloud, ping etc.) except for
(check ping and VCDS-cloud→OK,!!BUT port 11011 and 11012 OK but 11013 failed!).
Please give advice, I'm willing to help and do some tests; but it is frustrating to spend randomly time on erratic behaviour.

VCDS-Cloud is a service of Ross-Tech, LLCI tried and when doing a second autoscan there was NO VIN in the logfile, and the logfile saved on the cloud with an error (red cross).

MOB in car again:
update possible (ROD files), so I do
1st autoscan →VIN OK, but claims need ASAM data, I ignore
2nd autoscan →VIN missingVIN is visible in the first autoscan and missing in the following autoscans (as it was 3 years agoo).
The only other information that could be helpfull I got when doing a network test, everything was fine (access cloud, ping etc.) except for
(check ping and VCDS-cloud→OK,!!BUT port 11011 and 11012 OK but 11013 failed!).
Please give advice, I'm willing to help and do some tests; but it is frustrating to spend randomly time on erratic behaviour.

Shaun had you on the Alpha channel so it should have been possible to download and install:

I switched you back to Alpha and it will stay that way until 5/19/2026 as long as VCIConfig is not used to lower it to Release or Beta prior to that. Please try that update once more using a Windows based PC. As long as the above versions are able to be installed the VCDS-Mobile testing should go more smoothly.

Yeah, you aren't the first and won't be the last to have that happen.

It's not. As Dana stated, end-users can switch between Release and Beta, but the only way to get on the Alpha channel for updates is for Ross-Tech to put you on it.

I'm happy to report something positive, the α version did download and it looked more stable, it could do an autoscan without problems, however for some reason the autoscan did not save to the cloud, will retry tomorrow and download the result
I did the autoscan and stored it in the cloud, visible on my phone but for some reason not on the PC via the web-interface:

Hmm. As long as the interface was in Infrastructure mode it should have uploaded to the cloud.
I would try plugging it in via USB to the PC alone (no car needed) tomorrow, open VCIConfig to verify the Infrastructure mode IP address and use that hyperlink to open VCDS-Mobile. That should launch VCDS-Mobile in your default PC web browser at which point you should be able to open/copy/paste it to forum but also look to see if it has a green check mark versus the red X meaning it did not sync to cloud.
