Not looking promising for vcds-mobile. Did the updates as per above, dowloaded asam when asked, that part work good.

However, live data HUD is still not showing valid data. Selected coolant temperature and shows 0 with engine warm.

Trying to select another pid ends with loading asam stuck at 0% for a good while, when I decided to boil-off inside home and not in the car.

I wish so hard to see at least:
Coolant temp
Battery voltage (terminal 30)
Long term fuel trim
Short term fuel trim

If you do more testing, please try in mobile: [Options] -> [Clear Dataset Cache], then go to [Advanced Measuring Values] for this controller and let it rebuild the list.

Did as per above, asam loaded, however, coolant temp remains zero. Trying to select some other pid removes the 2x3 block completely, app freezes, no joy.

What type of car is this? Have you tried it with the hood open? Have you tried from VCDS on a PC to verify that data is available?

As soon as i can i will check with pc and vcds and report back but i think if the mobile app is able to read live data then it should read

So today i got some time and i checked vcds with laptop via cable and with wifi both ap and infrastrucure mode working perfectly i can view live data fault codes etc etc so its working good, but with the mobile app doesnt matter if its in ap or if mode live data wont show anything, tried to clear rod files and data and them download again its just says n/a
I can pick anything from the live data colunn but n/a does not matter if its engine or auto trans or brake abs module.
Tried with safari and google chrome with an iphone 16 pro max
Maybe any chance to make it work with my phone?

Did you leave a number in the search box after checking measuring values? If so it will override to that group which maybe doesn't exist, something to check.

You could try making a debug log from mobile: [Options] -> Debug level: 3F [Submit] then go and try to access measuring values. When finished, back out to [View Saved Files] and find the debug log and make sure it is synced to cloud with [Options] menu -> [Upload], the interface needs internet access to be able to do this.

Hello!

So i did those steps that you said above, i hope you can figure out something! All logs and debug files and an auto scan is synced to cloud!

Thanks!

There is a more recent ROD dataset on the Beta channel that may have better coverage for this, you can test it if you want by switching your interface to the beta channel in VCIConfig like this: VCIConfig [Advanced] -> Update Channel Beta [Change Channel], then [Update] -> [Check for Updates] to download the beta update.
