Hello,
Firstly ill preface this by stating that i am very much a novice when it comes to this stuff. I can perform some very basic functions, but i can follow instructions.
I have a 2025 RS3 that is showing some strange codes.
I got the car in August and at about 1900km i did a scan, mainly to make sure VCDS was going to work on this car. It does, happy days. I noticed at the time there were a number of fault codes. I knew from my past car that its not uncommon for new cars to come with stored codes from various factory testing procedures. I stored the scan, cleared the codes and moved on.
Fast forward to last weekend... I am testing a diverter valve for Turbosmart in Australia so i was required to do a scan to clear any fault codes before doing the test. I noticed then that there was a couple of codes that had reoccurred. I saved the scan, cleared the codes and then ran the testing i was asked to do by Turbosmart. Interestingly none of the codes have anything to do with the diverter valve im testing.
Following the test, i ran another scan and a couple of the fault codes had reappeared. The one that concerns me most is the ABS fault, as i got a pop up waring of "missing ROD data". I then checked the very first scan i did at 1900km and the fault was present then when the car was bone stock. So it is obviously nothing i have done.
I realise there is not a lot of infor out there on this model of car just yet, so i am posting this in the hope to start building up the database of available knowledge out there.
If anyone has any input on these faults i would love to hear from you.
