Abs Module Mk60 incorrectly coded

My 2009 Mk5 gti has been throwing the abs traction control and brake lights and Ive gotten all the codes for the abs module and hydrolic pump and even in the gateway it says its incorrectly coded I tried sending it somewhere to be fixed because I thought the module was toast but the lights have recently came back on and Ive seen some forums showing that the code is tied to your vin.
