My main issue is fault codes for regeneration. I have had a mix of issues that I’ve been working through and not sure which way to go next. First I got P2459 for regeneration frequency. I replaced both differential pressure sensors and blew air through all rubber hoses to clear potential blocks. I drove it another 1000 miles and then I got code P026A charge air cooler efficiency below threshold and P2457 EGR insufficient cooling performance. I then noticed I had no heat and decided to flush the heater core to clear the blockage. I replaced the thermostat and the waterpump and I am back to regeneration faults. I recently went on a long trip interstate driving and after about 300 miles the dpf light kicked on. I shifted down and let it do its thing until I got off the interstate and the light went out. Another 30 miles or so and the dpf light kicks on again. I shifted down and after 15 minutes the glowplug light started flashing. I made it slowly to my stop and after an hour or so I drove off again without the dpf light on. I haven’t seen the dpf light again, but I’m not driving the interstate daily.



Sorry for the long story, but I wanted to throw out everything I’ve done so far. I have cleared out the codes after installing new parts. After I installed the new differential sensors, I adapted them and it said complete, so I hoped that I did that right. I performed a service regeneration and it completed with no issue. I still have heat, so I think I have coolant circulating good.



Any help on where to go next is appreciated!

I'll need to get the other info tomorrow and I'll add it on here. I'll run a log on those IDE's as well, I noticed the soot mass measured climbing pretty fast after I ran a service regen the other day and thought that may be a concern.

Nothing jumps out at me out of all you've posted to indicate a problem.
We need a fresh scan to see if faults have reoccurred.
We need all the DPF stats again, to ensure that regens have taken place and have completed.
I'm not seeing any issues as of right now. All appears to be working as it should.

Here are the DPF stats and a new scan. The car has been drinking some oil between oil changes. Maybe something around .5Liter every 8000km. When I replaced the thermostat, I cleaned out the intercooler while it was off and I didn't see an alarming amount of oil but also the first time I've had a look at it.

I spoke too soon it seems. You still have issues. Your DEF LTA isn't moving off baseline, so you need to look into that. There should also be some IDEs related to regeneration cancellation or incomplete reasons which you can look up.
The distance between regens and the DPF loading rates are also really bad

1/2 liter in 8,000km oil consumption is not abnormal imho, but is that a change from previous oil consumption?

It has been consuming oil like that for probably around 40,000km. Before that it really didn't consume any noticeable amount. No oil drips in parking spot. I assumed frequent regens had something to do with it or else maybe the turbo

Any tips on what to look into for the DEF LTA? I have pulled the DEF injector off and made sure that it was spraying with a test. At the time I wasn't looking at volume, but more just making sure it was injecting.
