Audi A3 8Y - All keys lost situation MQBEvo

Hi chaps

Interesting one, all keys lost sitation on a MQBEvo
Cannot code in a replacement key as BCM is in alarm activated lockdown mode
Obviously no ignition

Official repair is new BCM and new lockset

LHD BCM is drivers side so thats great
But on this RHD vehicle the BCM is behind the glovebox
Cannot remove glovebox as passenger door is locked and access to BCM restricted.
Cannot open passenger door as deadlocks are engaged and no key barrel.

Any clever way around anyone can think of without major damage?

The only way is a new BCM, no other way in these cars.

Yes thats correct but we still need to be able to access the old BCM before we can install the new one!

For older RHD Golfs, where the CAN gateway was just absolutely buried, a special access panel was added in the firewall.

I have absolutely no idea if VW did something similar for the MQBevo A3 BCM, but if VW thought of this problem once, maybe they thought of it again.

Wow; yet another reason I'll never buy one of these cars.

@golfather -- do you have access to the OBD-II socket? You might get some things to power up if you jumper pin 16 to pin 1. I'm not at all sure how much that will help though.

Already tried similar Uwe
Things came on and lit up but these new cars are not that simple
As alarm is activated BCM will not operate and doors will not unlock.
