We are struggling to locate the boot lid control module on a 2007 bentley GTC Convertible,

The workshop info suggested in the boot lid, or the right-hand side, rear seat area, behind trim panels. We have stripped both sides, no luck.

can ny one help with the location on the car?

The coupe is i believe, but this is a convertible,
we have now stripped B post back , it is still evading us, even pulled the batteries.
There is some space behind the forward boot trim, my next objective.
There is a lack of info everywhere, while ive got it stripped i will make a reference video for all the hidden modules and post it.

i will try and locate the convenience unit, i think they run 2 and the boot module is an extention of the rear one rather than a seperate address, would make german sense to put then close to one another. maybe

Found it, n/s rear inner wheel arch behind the trim, so the area behind the rear seat and below the roof storage.
While I have the car stripped I'm going to identify all the modules and a video, to help other Bentley lovers.
The unit is in a position vulnerable to flooding from blocked rear roof drains, if the boot spare wheel waterlogged is an early clue.
Audi parts are expensive enough, Bentley are eye watering, but build quality is second to none.
