Hi experts,
I have a 2008 VW R32 with a turbo upgrade and it's mated to a DQ500 to handle the power. The gearbox is very young but the problem started with the car refusing to go into R or D. It would grab eventually, hard, and then work fine until you park it again and it gets cold. It has progressed to where nothing I can do will make it grab a gear. In the process, I got the PRNDS flashing warning and codes for Clutch 1 and 2 unintentionally releasing.
We replaced the mechtronic recently and it did not help the performance, although the codes went away. There are no codes on the TCU, and the only codes on the ECU are for changing the battery (steering angle sensor, etc).
We tried to apply basic settings and it fails for "Aborted Safety Reasons" and nothing I can do will make it work. Nothing I can do makes any sound come out of the gearbox either. It seems like it's either not getting instructions or its incapable of any internal movement.
When I put the car into any gear, none of the adv measurement pressure settings change.
Any suggestions on what to diagnose next would be greatly appreciated!
