It was for me to show how gov is exagerating!I also do not want to watch Videos of a broken Car It is a waste of time and no alternative to making measurements.
No matter forget it then

Oh what a nice question!Maybe you will never pass the test given no DPF and the age of the car and engine ? Do the same test standards apply to this car as cars fitted with DPF ? Non DPF diesels will smoke especially as the injectors get older and worn and fouled
It's a 2008 model. Were they required to have DPFs?Maybe you will never pass the test given no DPF and the age of the car and engine ? Do the same test standards apply to this car as cars fitted with DPF ? Non DPF diesels will smoke especially as the injectors get older and worn and fouled
I guess no because my motor don't haveIt's a 2008 model. Were they required to have DPFs?

If it's the injectors case why VCDS can't say me this?Maybe you will never pass the test given no DPF and the age of the car and engine ? Do the same test standards apply to this car as cars fitted with DPF ? Non DPF diesels will smoke especially as the injectors get older and worn and fouled
VCDS can only tell you what the car knows. If it's the injectors case why VCDS can't say me this?

I am technician working on robotics and automatas
Hello brother!Injector spray patterns are critical to get good combustion in a diesel. As injectors wear and foul the spray pattern is affected leading to increased smoking due to poor combustion. This mechanical wear in an injector cannot be detected by the car until the injector fails badly and even then it will be an indirect indication via things like fuel supply pressures or mileage measurements or exhaust catalyst or DPF issues depending on the car and the sensors it has.
Hey Dr Sheldon !Please remember that VCDS (any diagnostic machine) plugs into a 16 Pin DLC. It can only read what that DLC is writing which in turn is limited by the sensors fitted. That then is only processed data not Raw or Organic.
Just like food - Processed will hurt you - Organic will Preserve you !!
Surely as a Robotics and Automation Technician you will / should already know that ?
Let me guide you. Aircraft Technicians only specialise in one discipline ! Easy !!
Unlike Proper Automotive Technicians. We do it all and we do it well !!
Automation and Robotics which you boast about is childs play. What do you know about the tech in a modern car ? I guess you would be ok with Electric Windows, Seats, Mirrors.
A Convertible Folding Roof will quite likely destroy you !!
You need a reality check !
I could adapt to your job in a year, You could not adapt to mine in 10 Years !!
No thank you ! I have a full and varied life of my own !if you really want to take to my opinion just let me know and we will have PM
Look closely at a PD injector ! It has thousands of drillings to disperse / atomise the fuel !Injector spray patterns are critical to get good combustion in a diesel
