The right rear window is not working. I ran VCDS and got a Code 01036.
There is only one other thread I found for this code. Uwe wrote: "Speculation: A bad temperature sensor/switch in that door control module."
I ran an output test for the rear door and everything worked except the window going up and down.
My car was not in use for about a month while work was being done. Battery was disconnected at times. The rear windows worked fine before this. The right rear door had the same or similar code, but that cleared on the first attempt.
I checked the wiring harness on that door looks good. I tried some tests I found online to try to resolve the issue . . . . all without success.
Is this just a bad motor/control module?
My next step is to disconnect the motor and lift the window in position (it is currently open) as a temporary solution. Will this work?
As for other codes, the car is still on jack stands with front bumper and headlights removed. This explains most of remaining codes.
Any guidance you can offer would be appreciated.
