Hello,
maybe somone can answer my questions.
I recognized for VCDS 25.x there is needed a new firmware for the interface.
Is the new firmware (0.258) compatible with older VCDS versions?
Is there a way back to 0.257 ?

It is generally backwards compatible with any previous VCDS version that supported the same interface. There is no way to revert, but that also should not be necessary.

in case of not working with an older VCDS i wanted to know if there is a chance to get back. With Shaun's answer I am happy, and don't need to get back
