Hello all, This weekend I'm planning on doing a carbon clean and take out the injectors and clean and test them . I have a gdi injector cleaner. I have 12 injectors and intend on testing for flow and if I find any discrepancys I will switch the offending injectors.
My question is if I switch one is coding required? Is coding required after they are cleaned? Does it matter if they are placed back in the same cylinder due to codeing? Also how are they bleed so that the car will start after the fuel rail is emptyed?
As for the carbon cleaning is there an easy way to rotate the crank and have multiple intake valves closed or do I have to rotate the crank for each cylinder?
