I use Fing as my network monitoring software and when I looked at it, my Hex-Net V.1 shows up, but the Device Brand is shown as Myenergi, and the Model as hub. Is that the actual internal hardware?

Can you post a screenshot? Mine just shows as a generic hexnet device?

This seems like a bug in the desktop build of Fing or something. Fing mobile app shows it as generic device, though I do see in the PC app it shows like this. At any rate, no a HEX-NET is not a myenergi hub.

Possible/likely they use the same WiFi chip and Fing has been a little too generous on how many digits of the OUI they should match to "MyEnergi", if any.

Thanks, Uwe, Shaun, & Eric. I suspected something like that, but wanted to check. And, yes that is Fing Desktop on my MacBook Pro. I sent Fing a suggestion to add Ross-Tech and Hex-Net as a brand and model option to their database.
