Audi 8v rear pdc

Hi! Been following the forum for a long time, decided to join in order to ask this because I'm genuinely stuck... recently I've retrofited rear parking sensors for my 2014 8V, did all the wiring 18 can high, 8 can low, did all the coding, the PDC module did respond and so on, yet when I engage reverse there's no beeping, also the parking aid menu in the mmi is greyed out (unavailable). Anyone has any clue what could possibly be wrong?

A couple of details of note: version 21.3 is a bit out of date , is this a genuine VCDS product?

The forum requires the English version of VCDS when posting a Auto-Scan (do not translate). You can download that from the software update pull down menu.
