Scan Attached. Starts and Idles fine, as soon as you drive it and it shifts from 1 to 2nd gear the engine stumbles a bit and a few seconds later the glow plug light starts flashing and it goes into limp mode.
1) If I understand this correctly, when the Particulate filter warning icon comes on in the dash, the car will always go into limp mode and the glow plug icon in the dash will blink, correct?
2) The can gateway error (J553, address 19), I looked at all the j numbers in a diagram and there is no physical voltage regulator other than the one thats bolted on the back of the alternator. Is this what the error message is referring to? This error only started showing after I hooked up a dumb charger to the car and was feeding it 40amps for about 3 hours. (I had loaned my smart charger to a friend) I have since purchased a voltage stabilizer and use it when running diagnostics on the car.
Any suggestions?
