Dear Ross-Tech Members,

I would like to lower the air suspension on my Audi RS e-tron GT BJ2021 (J1 platform) using VCDS by adjusting the body height via the “basic setting” for fender (wheel arch) calibration.

Has anyone successfully performed this procedure on the RS e-tron GT, and is there any guidance or experience available on how to carry it out correctly? I would greatly appreciate any support, documentation, or best practices you can provide.

Kind regards,
Wise

or best practices you can provide.

Leave it alone !!

Any adjust you make to that suspension is likely to give you a poorer vehicle than the one that rolled off the production line.

If and when you do lower it - What will your "new" Geometry adjustments be ? Is it possible to make those adjustments on that car ?

Modification = Insurance implications ?

I’ll be staying well within the tolerance limits set by Audi

I was just asking if someone had actually done it and could share some hands-on experience.

Do the calibration and add Whatever mm you want in basic settings a see how you go.

I would guess that there will be a limit. At some point the module will consider your input as implausible and serve you the FO tablet.

Thx Sheldon,

but there are definitely a few things to keep in mind – especially regarding axle rebound and the correct sequence during the adaptation, to avoid triggering any faults.

That’s why I’d really appreciate hearing from someone who’s already gone through the process and can share their experience.

Better safe than chasing ghosts in the fault memory.

If you can afford an RS e-tron 2021, you can also afford a trip to the dealer to repair the screw-up, in case it happens, I don't say it will. So be a "man" and take the risk, be 1st.
