2000 Audi A6 2.7T Major oil leak

Vehicle sat for about a month. Started engine, moved vehicle and found a large puddle of motor. oil is coming from front left side of engine, in the oil filter area or above. Any thoughts or ideas on what gasket, oil seal, part or hose that could have suddenly "Failed". Just thought I'd ask around before I tear into It, just to see if anyone has seen this problem before. The oil cooler seal would be my first bet after checking that the oil filter wasn't loose. There is a formed o-ring between the cooler and the engine block. Part number 028 117 070B.
