I have just successfully retrofitted cruise control to my 2012 plate 2.0 Tdi Tiguan with manual transmission.
Stalk set 5K0953502K removed, cruise control stalk set 5K0953502M fitted.
Steering wheel control module 5K0953569AG removed, control module 5K0953569AE fitted.
Coding was already correct on the module and no re-coding was required, the wiring at T16/5 was already in place and so, that also didn't need extra work.
Basically, plug and play, drive to reset the steering and brake warning lights and possibly a code clear afterwards for any remaining fault codes.
