Broken driver's headlamp lens -> water -> corrosion -> new assembly -> new modules -> new bulbs -> one problem:
the left low bulb continues to throw short to plus error, and will not come on.
What I think I know:
- pin 6 is not getting power
UPDATE: the wire at terminal 6 DOES carry power at when beams switched on. (pulled wire from D connector and tested with dmm)
Why I think I know this:
If this is the case, what do I do? My understanding is that this draws from terminal c5 on j519 but I don't want to just swap that module out like I've seen many people do with similar problems.
If this may not be the case, can you help me think through additional testing - I'm willing to repeat any other diagnosis I've done, I'm all out of ideas, patience, and sanity.
