Hi,
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Installation of replacement battery agm new, Efb old. Bem on original efb battery, nothing except stamped code on new Agm battery. Both Varta, old 700a new 760a
70 ah to 75ah Tiguan 2019. Burnt on stamp code on new battery is Z9G478203 0373 which includes date of manufacturing (478) October 24 and where from (G) Spain. Is that the long code to enter.

I believe there are ways around this situation , but, so that everyone viewing is on the same page..... Please post a complete Auto-Scan.

If you have posted one in the past, please post that link so we can see it.

Agree... the 110Ah in our Touaregs are massive... imagine one with ~6.8x the reserve!
You'd need a forklift to replace it. :p
Reminds me of the massive 48V battery banks in most electric forklifts (the 36V systems need not apply, they are wimpy). :p

... and the massive 3-phase charger inverter needed to charge them!

It doesnt really matter as long as the number changes. Usually its the last 10 numbers. Hell you can probably put in 10 1's and it will take it.

700 Ah? 750 Ah? Those must be some big, heavy batteries! ;)

If I was changing both the size (capacity) and battery type (EFB -> AGM), I'd suggest doing it right rather than just changing the serial number.

But I'd very much like to see an Auto-Scan before I get into the specifics of how that should be done.
