Audi Fiber optic troubleshooting

I am trying to figure out a problem with Audi sound system and trying (for now) just to get some understanding of how it works. Are there any documents I can read? Anyone that can provide some general knowledge?
I can post autoscans and all, right now I am just doing my homework. In my case, my sound system won't work, I can't communicate (VCDS nor fiber loop) with the 2 units in the trunk. Amp (bank and olufsen) and radio. Pretty much just want to know where to start, never troubleshooted any fiber issues before.

As per forum rules, please post a complete Auto-Scan.

"Audi Fiber optic" and "Audi sound system" is a touch vague.... so... I suspect it is at least a 2004 Audi A8L... but possible something newer and not A8L.
