I'm doing a bunch of maintenance so have various things apart. I changed the fuel filter and one of the lines and want to prime the filter and make sure its not leaking. For the R8, when I go go to engine/ouput, I don't see any selection to run the pump? There's a "test everything" button, but not sure if that runs the pump or not.

thoughts?

Thanks!

When you open the drivers door does the LP fuel pump prime? Be prepared if you have the system open. !! Wait several minutes, then try it again.
A complete Auto-Scan posted would be best. That way functions could be looked up for the modules involved.

Thanks for the feedback - not 100% following. I don't have any faults or anything, just want to run the pump to confirm my plumbing work. So when I first open the door the pump runs even before I put a key in the ignition? I think I had the door open when I hooked up the battery. Will close and see what it does. The pump works fine, just didn't hear it when I turned the key on. I just wanted to confirm no leaks before I put the side blade back on. ** Update. I reconnected the battery, closed all the hoods/doors, opened, put the key in and ig to on, but don't hear the LPFP at all... this is why I want to run it from VAGCOM if that s possible.

Thanks,

It may be. We will not know until you share details of the control modules by sharing a copy of the autoscan.

Our crystal balls have taken the week off and people here, who are trying to help you, have asked for information. You have chosen not to provide it.

Perhaps it would be best to get real information on your car from the factory information portal: Official Factory Repair Information

In order to offer guidance on how to do that, we need to see exactly what control modules are installed in your car, and an Auto-Scan shows us that.
