Good evening,
I have an issue with my daughter's Audi TT TDI in which it cut out while driving and would crank but not start. here is the scan:
So I checked for voltage and earth at the Fuel Pressure Sensor, and signal, which was 0.75v when I was expecting 1.5-2 v,
Checked for 12v and switching signal at the FPR, which were fine.
Suspected the FPR was at fault, so I swapped it with my Scirocco, which had the same part. Didn't start and the Scirocco did with the TT FPR.
Then I tried the solenoid on the HPFP, which had signal and 12v I so swapped that with the Scirocco too. When I cranked the TT, it now sounds like it is trying to fire but still no start.
I fired up the Scirocco, which ran for a few seconds, then cut out and would only crank but not try to fire. I tried priming the pump for a couple of minutes but still no luck. I then swapped the FPR and HPFP solenoid back to the original car, primed the Scirocco again but it is just spinning over but not firing, so now I have two disabled cars.
Is there a way to bleed the HP fuel system so I can get the Scirocco working so I can drive it to work on Monday?
