Hi,

Just updated to release 25.3.1 today. Since update, printing fault codes is not working properly.

First attachment is what print output looks like. Second attachment is what is on the screen.

AFAIK no other changes were made to the laptop (it's a Dell/Win 11), I usually do updates ASAP after release, have not seen this issue before.

Thx
Tony

Here is what I have read on the forum (in the past): Do not use the "print" tab function ; copy and paste the Auto-Scan to your notepad or use the "Save" tab only ; you can then print from that document. The print function was originally designed for a dot matrix printer.

Thanks for the bug report, we have been able to reproduce it and should have a fix in VCDS soon. In the meantime, you can either:

1) Do a complete AutoScan and print that.

-or-

2) When viewing fault codes for a specific module, click on [Save] first to save the results to a text file. When you open that file, it should print just fine.

Please let us know the results.

Thank you Andy! And also for the workaround. Didn't think about text, I'm so used to using pdf.

Thx
Tony

I've just had a customer call with this problem as well and I gave him the save/print file routine for a workaround until the fix

Best regards
