Hi,

got this kind of DTC's in my car. Skoda octavia MK3.5, 2018, DDYA 1.6tdi.

I've already changed the EGR that is at the front of the engine. Don't know what to do next.

That P0401 00 code is appearing always after few kilometers of ride.

Any ideas?

The EGR component that is usually the fault is on the back of the engine with the DPF and it looks like both are FUBAR from the data.

The part on the front of the engine isn’t often the fault

Okey,

i’ve been thinking that that would be the next part to change maybe. It’s positioned in interesting place. It’s not an easy job to do? Maybe easier to handle from bottom of the car?

I just drove like 180km revs up and did NOx and SOx regenerations forced from vcds, and now the only code comes from is the particulate trap bank. Maybe it’s still the egr in the back of the engine?

No, it’s bloody awful to remove and the car needs to be on a lift, doing it on the floor would be an awful experience.
