Question. Does a BCM need to be reprgorammed like an ABS module?

On an MK6 Jetta, it will need to be Coded and have Adaptation channels set. Assuming the old BCM talks, get a scan for its coding and make an Adaptation Channel Map for reference.

And do not copy/paste coding for orig, byte 18 is very important to know what to do and to Code it on those BCM.

Thank you. The windows and moonroof are not responding with the new junkyard BCM, but still starts runs, and the reason for this question.

Break..why can’t you just copy and paste as long as 18 drops in?

need help coding bcm,I replaced it and added long coding...it accepted it
But I went to long coding helper and copied all of the files,but I dont knlw what to do next both units have same part number 5C0937087E
