VCDS USE for fuel pressure checks
on some of the VCDS test it shows Fuel pressure 200000 Kpa Rel ? = 2000 Bar what does the rel stand for , is it regulated and is the 200000 figure correct as seems high
or should it be 20000.kpa
I also Noticed when the fuel pressure sensor is disconnected the fuel values change, i have data vag which says
The fuel pressure sender has open loop default run if the sender fails
the engine will still run at a lower Rpm leval Speed
Can anyone confirm this, or once the sensor fails is that it the engine wont run, i have no faults codes, i have checked the 1st two fuel pumps all good,and a good supply of fuel to the main high pressure pump more test tomorrow to confirm pump or injectors, i have checked the regulator, but as i mentioned can someone confirm the fuel pressure sensor whether it has a default for when it fails, as this engine wont Run,
