Some time ago I decided that my car needed a trailer hitch, with a drop-down option, I found a used one with Westfalia control. I connected everything according to the diagrams, inserted the fuses, everything worked. Now it was time to code everything through VCDS, I managed to code all the control units, guided by the information available on Rose Tech. Now to the problem, the only control unit that I can't code is Adaptive Cruise Control. In my usual VCDS, it didn't offer any codes, so I went to a friend who has the original VCDS with an annual fee. This version offered the codes, so my original code is 0031168, to code ACC with trailer hich I have to change it to 0031161, but the control module didn't accept this code, so ACC shows an error, The control unit is incorrectly coded and therefore ACC does not work, maybe someone might know why the control unit does not accept this code that it offers itself. Currently, while the hook is not in use, the fuses have been removed and everything related to the hook has been decoded so thats the only way ACC will function properly.
